RE "Abvie, in Sept. 2012… "
Yes, let's talk about that for a minute.
Just another huge red flag - or something that doesn't add up.
Abbvie was supposedly ready to put a huge deal into PPHM.
They bailed.
But wait, the data was supposedly "salvaged".
OK, if they data was still great after salvaging it, where's Abbvie and their cash? For that matter, Why isn't the stock back to ~$5?
Obviously Abbvie didn't buy into the "salvaged" data and neither does the market.
Why? One reason could be the FACT that the trial had a absurdly high number of censored patients(39 of 79 of the bavi patients!).
What would the data have been if they weren't censored? We don't know, but it most likely would have been significantly different. In other words, despite all the talk of how great the trial was, the data doesn't mean anything because they didn't count half the people in the Bavi arms!
Yeah, it should be obvious why Abbvie ran away and took their cash with them.
What does this say about the possibility of Sunrise success/failure?
That's a whole other huge question.
