Okay say Indonesia for example, here is a list of all the public companies that trade on their exchange:

Now take a look at the oatsreportable list which represents ALL stocks that are able to be purchased on the US market whether listed or unlisted.

Don't know how far you go back in the trading world, but before all this asinine OTC Markets crap, I called Latimer or Smith New Court/Carl Marks to execute foreign trades.

Cifra was one of the most popular and highest volume crap that I was trading on the foreign desk back in the day.
