#4342 RE: Patrick Bateman #4341

At the end of the day, anyone who knows anything about large mergers knows two things: 1) said merger takes a while to even be completed and 2) said merger has very little impact on company taken over for at least the first 6 months...and then the full effects possibly even years.

I'm not defending that this is good or bad for ZIVO...I'm just saying as it stands right now, it is indifferent. ZTS will be run as it currently is for at least the next year, assuming the merger transpires. I would "hope" we are closer than that to a licensing deal...but who the heck knows.

And queue the panic selling...already see it this morning. LOL.

For once ... we agree.

No one knows whether a Valeant takeover of Zoetis is good or bad for ZIVO .....

Actually there could be upside as Valeant is human pharma and doesn't have animal division. Should Valeant do the acquisition they'd be able to leverage both human and animal applications ..... and negotiate a license for both.

But I'm of opinion ... why would any pharma that could leverage both sides ..... license from ZIVO ?? Just buy it. Cheaper in the long run.
