EPA levels will be higher in Reduce-It than the Jelis trial, perhaps much higher. Anchor was a 12 week measurement of EPA blood levels with stain. I have observed EPA blood levels continue to climb going into the 20th week. I have seen this in data from some other trials, recording EPA blood levels. Anchor may have been just a preview, actual EPA blood levels that can be achieved with this over 2x dosage may go a ways beyond 187ug/mL avg.! Just a guess, will be fun to see the actual results. From what I remember, not all statins behave the same regarding the AA effect!
Did Amarin just take a measurements at the start and end of 12 week period? I have to go back and review.
