YES, yes, yes, YES

I am talking about statin effect on EPA (statin inhibits EPA effect). The effect is nill in the placebo group.

The statin effect is is on the Delta5 Desaturase enzyme which controls the conversion of ALA into Archadonic Acid. (agree w u) This is independent of EPA levels so the effect is the same in both arms.

Actually EPA tends to slow the conversion of ALA into AA (agree), however R-IT has higher statin dose (more effect) than in JELIS, so EPA has to slow MORE conversation in R-IT than in JELIS.
