What was quoted said "Metro-wide." I am assuming, and correct me if I am wrong, that the multple antennas needed to support an entire metro region would work together to cover an entire area so your dect phone should work throughout the covered Metro area. If it does then yes you would not readily replace your current cell service but the 3 cell phones my kids have would be replaced. They are never outside the Boston area where I live and if they are, they are with me. So why would i pay for 3 cell plans when dect would be enough coverage much cheaper.
