Just a thought on the STRENGTH trial.

Hypothetically speaking, if Reduce-it results show a reduction of cardiovascular events greater than say 40%, will that impact the completion of the STRENGTH trial?

My point being is that if you were enrolled in the STRENGTH trial and results of a similar drug show a greater than 40% (hypothetically speaking) reduction of events, considering that you are at a high cardiovascular risk would you continue to participate in the study knowing that you have a 50/50 chance of not receiving the active drug?
