I don't know exactly how those things work... I do believe trading can be halted during a certain stage of a buyout process but I don't think it is something that always has to happen... I think it depends on if the regulators feel a need to properly control the market to make sure all things go smooth and stay manageable... but I'm really not up on those things... maybe someone who is knowledgeable in that area will comment...???
As far as investors not knowing what's out there in referring to VLDI... hopefully over the next few weeks and months that will all be changing...
