omg, scary night, here is my review for idol tonight.......
..
its "throw back" night, like much older songs, so, we wont expect the kids to know them, keep that in mind..
they all sing twice, and 2 are in the bottom.. and one gets saved live by twitter, sadly, doesnt include those that dont do twitter..
round 1- ding ding.......
1- tyanna- sounded like an old person, too calculated, not good.
2- clark (my hero)- he starts out, harmonized with his guitar, good job, then the band buries him, but he rose to the occasion. did a good job, not great for him, but good. judges gave a better review than i expected from last week's bashing.
3- jax- hated it. next..
4- nick- still too mousy, hated it.
5- quentin- has the look, great fit for the song, but not good vocally..then he acts like he is going to fight harry jr, and they should have thrown him out for that. its all over the net after i came up here to post. whatever.. so, he grovels later and stays on the show.
6- joey (from where i grew up in va, just north of here) is in the bottom 2. she does "my funny valentine" and bombed but that is a hard song to do. here is my version.. http://gunliberty.com/gail/My%20Funny%20Valentine.m3u
7- rayvon- awful.
round 2 of all of them..
clark is up again- omg! he did "moon river"... he seemed unsure but again, they dont know these songs... but wow!
tyanna- did tina tuner's version of rollin' on the river. much better this round.
nick- hated this one too.. then omg, harry jr said, "if you are singing it to a girl, or maybe a guy".. so maybe nick is gay, who knows anymore and you have to watch what you say to them anymore. wow.
quinten- awful, and awkward again. nuff said..
jax- yuck
rayvon- way better 2nd round.
joey- yuck.. goes home to va, just north of me. back to her waitress job.
