#78747 RE: PeterGates #78744

Hello Peter Gates. I appreciate your efforts to see the call on ECDC advanced. I wanted to share with you what I see as the correlations, in general, between an unpaid business license and on site business operations. In the first place, when one entity( generally speaking)
Enters application for a business license, it is a commitment to operating in the legal structure of the implied ( and well documented) business / state standards of practice . No signature to that commitment, no business license, and one cannot practice without the license. Annual payment of that license fee is a rolling over of the initial intent of efficacy in that state. So they , the issuers of that license , understand , (even if we don't) the intent understood of knowing state business practice standards, laws and best practice.Generally speaking, If one knowingly does not reinstate that understanding, and signed willingness to comply, he puts the business, employees, shareholders and agents of loans at jeopardy, right? The state has every right to suspend and revoke a business license. Ever heard of a cease and desist and how might it be of relevance here? The suspension goes with court time and fines . The non payment does send up some red flags, IMO. All IMO. There are state by state deadlines as to time crunches but one must have his/ her current business license conspicuously displayed( for all to see) in the current and listed/ approved business site.

Someone here mentioned that it's illegal for a business to operate without a current license. If that is the states stand, then a reporting of ones doing business At ALL would be a risk, right? And paying business dollars or loans to rent business space would be appropriate? Not an advisor, read general applications of business license requirements. But I cannot attest to the specific legalities of a specific business license. So, having a defaulted ( proper term?) license, and performing practices , legally regulated, at a specific authorized business address / location, and sustaining that location, definitely do have correlations in ongoing business standards of practice, as I see it. Integrally correlated in best practice when involving stake holders. At least that is my interpretation from what I just read. Not an advisor, all stated is in my opinion of general terms and conditions. Have a good week. GLTA
