Danny, L2v- Sorry, this is the leading board for discussing anything and everything about IDCC, whether you approve or not of the "agenda". Important matters WILL be raised and discussed on this thread whether or not you "feel" the comments help or hurt your investment. This is not just a pumper board for IDCC even if that is all you and some others may want.
And, the defeat of prop #2, IMO, has done more to help the company, increase our share value, protect our investment, align management's interests with shareholders, accelerate the ultimate success of the company, and encourage institutional investors, than you can possibly imagine. For example, we now have HG actually exercising his options and HOLDING stock for the first time (ever?) that I can recall. Furthermore, let me be perfectly blunt: some of the folks that were the most devisive on this board in favor of prop #2 now agree that they were "wrong".
Please re-read the purpose of this board from the "Board Info" header to wit:
"This Board is an online community in which people of GOOD WILL ... to develop INTELLIGENT DISCUSSION leading to the soundest judgments and best reasoned conclusions regarding the investment value of IDCC. ... All people of good will are welcome to participate on this discussion Board. Those harboring ill will, who merely want to harass others and intend to frustrate or undermine the purpose of this community are not welcome. Any person engaging in personal attacks and harassment, or abusive language, may be reported to the Administrator ..."
The folks who imply the anti-prop #2 folks lacked GOOD WILL, just don't know what they are talking about and they are jumping to wrong conclusions based on wrong assumptions.
So, please do not try to limit this board and this thread. Let's see what comes down the road and then let's DISCUSS it INTGELLIGENTLY and with GOOD WILL, in accordance with the stated purpose of THIS thread. I am not moving to another board because you think I have an "agenda". My ONLY agenda is to improve the company in the long term.
And yes, times are different at the company, so the issues are different. Instead of our prior focus on PR, before the ASM this year we were appropriately focused on the options issue. The issues change and so should our discussions on this thread. But, the need for shareholder discussion and activism is still present and will remain important. And, this is the thread for it.
Who knows, perhaps you might again become personally involved in an issue for improvement at the company, such as you were previously in the PR issue. In any case, I always look forward to your perspectives whatever the issue may be at the time. But, I can't agree with you about limiting this thread in any way as long as the topic is IDCC.
