deskjs amazing how the I fund is becoming more of a currency play than an equity position. re: short term trading: well u may not be able 2 "day trade" per se...but u can mojo the heck outta trends. at times the "untimelyness" of the "by noon / cob setup" has saved me $$$$ in my account. seems like not 2 long ago we had a 15th of the month / eom execution and that really Sucked! agree with your trend analysis of a bullish market...the fact that is is based on who knows how much "FIAT MONEY" now is the part where i get skiddish...LOL good luck ...i am all G : http://www.tsptalk.com/mb/showthread.php?p=42317#post42317 waiting for the bernake "welcome to the job dip in the markets" while he is forced to raise rates for a stronger dollar to offset the liquidty pump.
The proxy I use for I Fund is EFA and it closed down yesterday. As you know, there isn't a 100% correlation between EFA and I Fund--but close enough correlation for investment decisions IMHO.
Do you remember when you could only switch at the end of a month and had to have your order to switch in by the 15th?? We have come a long way from there.
