It's important to get the locals onside. That YMCA across the fence has me concerned, as do the nearby homes. I expect it will be a continuing effort to maintain good relations with the locals.

We are talking about a novel process, so there are no examples you can point to when saying that emissions will be low. Berms, trees and fences can reduce noise and eliminate eyesores, but they don't stop air pollution.

I know it's tough when the process design is incomplete, but it would be nice if we had good estimates of what environmental emissions could be expected.

Techno, I really appreciate the insight and follow through you bring to the table. You are really on top of things. Thanks for posting and keeping everyone up to date. By the way, since you are from NJ, check out the front page of the Star Ledger today. There was an article about ethanol.
