windbag, re: "Why does Mark care if this is pink, grey or chartreuse?"

two reasons, off the cuff:

1. Mark still has no self-sustaining revenue from either of his stocks.
selling shares has been his primary source of revenue since 2009.
shares are much easier to sell on pink sheets than gray.

2. Mark personally owes a ton of preferred shares.
all of which are effectively worthless at 000x on gray market.

nutshell,
getting back to pink allows Mark better access to capital via share sales
and higher sale value of his own shares.

that said, i certainly agree that i'd prefer to see Mark focus on shipping films than selling shares.

Really? Please, give me a break. What business associates/investors/etc would want to be associated with a grey sheets company?
2nd, Mark will have plenty of news to release once MIKP is re-instated back to PINK.
Skin Trade, White Space,etc.

Per Marks Shareholder UPDATE dated April 24, 2014.
“As well, I have worked diligently to surround us with competent, capable and effective strategic partners to build market confidence as we become fully reporting. Operationally, I feel we’ve made some great strides in laying roads for positive cash-flows, and I thank shareholders for their patience as we work to complete what I feel have been ambitious undertakings with prospects for a big payoff in taking our studio to the next level. This year, I intend to foster those larger projects, all the while seeking to harvest cash-flow generating assets and initiatives to ensure a strong foundation to support larger undertakings.”

“I am truly thankful for the support we’ve had through the years and I’ve made some tremendous contacts in our own shareholder base all the while. It’s important to note that positivism breeds positivism and I’m grateful that many of our shareholders understand and employ this philosophy as we work diligently to uplist the company and take it to the next level.”

Best post today so far. This hits the nail on the head. Successful companies focus on products, services, and revenue and NOT their stock price.

Without products & services MIKP will never be more than it is currently.

Why does Mark care if this is pink, grey or chartreuse? If it were me, I would be concentrating on selling a movie or two. Why would he spend money on getting this off greys instead of spending it on the projects that will sustain this company?

Because Mark has long term goals that do not include grey and maybe not even pink. Mark is going forward on projects. A ServeNation patent has been applied for. White Space is still being addressed and obviously a Skin Trade agreement was made just recently. Mark is being smart in not disclosing everything right now. What good would it do. Would it be best for us? Answer is no. If Mark waits to disclose notes AFTER this turns pink it would work more in our favor than if he disclosed business now. Mark is working with his lawyer on when and when not to disclose things.
So if you are interested in making money like most shareholders are, know that the end result will be better if news is held right now rather than a blow by blow while still on the grey sheets. If everyone had the sentiment of not caring what color they are I do not think Wall Street would be doing too well.

There is a stigma attached to being grey (skull and cross bones) and Mark rightfully so wants to get rid of that.
