Don't worry about the merger for heavens sake.

Both companies know it's one and one equals three sort of math. The boards of OVRL and ANY voted unanimously to merge and any speculation that one party will reconsider is pretty silly. It's in the lawyers hands for a bit until the t's are crossed and the i's dotted, which is totally normal. The brains behind the scene here, Cyrus Capital, put this all together a long time ago. We just didn't know how smart they were, and probably still don't as there is much coming down the pike that hans't been announced.

Just relax and let this play out. Yes, there are some dumb idiots out there who paint the tape daily and try to drive the price down from time to time, but the tide is turning against them. Pretty soon that tide will increase to a rip tide and they will be swept out to sea by the ocean of new investors where they will drown. Am looking forward to that eventuality, and in the meantime am very comfortable that smart folks are pulling the puppet strings here and the show is ours to enjoy.

I think this product development actually makes the case for the merger stronger... OVRL doesn't have this without ANY... so if the merger goes away, so does this product line... or OVRL will have to pay through the nose for licensing rights to the technology... merger made sense before this announcement and more sense after... sell, sell, sell as PT once said... unleash the hounds... the companies are behaving as if the merger has already occurred... I like that... this things is ramping up quickly...

Could be wrong but I don't think these new V3 appliances contain Glassware. Its a VDI hyper-converged appliance. Glassware is currently sold in the DX2 appliance.

This is probably to prepare for VMWorld. Good chance they'll be in marketing collateral at the booth Aug 24 - 28.
