OT: BSW, do you speak to people like that when you are face to face? Seems like a mob mentality, "It's ok to act in a normally socially unacceptable way because I am anonymous."
BSW .. Much has been made here about the lack of specificity that IDCC has provided in the proxy statement regarding how these options will be used. Several have said they would vote yes if the proxy gave a more detailed explanantion in that regard. My feeling is that it is difficult to be much more specific because the awards depend upon unknown future employee performances and opportunities as well as to be determined future competitor actions. Can you (or anyone else for that matter) provide proxy descriptions for similar requests at other companies? I'm guessing they are pretty much "boiler plate" and we may be holding IDCC to a higher disclosure standard than their competitors, thereby putting them at a competitive disadvantage.
