Hi Flobewan, thanks for your comprehensive XP tune up link. I have a problem with Microsoft Update on one of my computers loaded with XP Home. When I select custom and it checks for the latest updates for my computer it gives me the following results:

Restore and Check Again Only selected updates will appear the next time you check for updates.
These updates must be installed separately Updates listed here can have system-wide effects or address more than one problem. It's a good idea to install them now and then check again, starting from the Home page, for remaining updates.

1./ I have not been asked to accept the EULA before any updates with a EULA can be installed. 2./ I have 14.0 GB used and 24.2 GB free space on C drive.
Flobewan, Thats a nice list, but Im not the most literate. When I typed this post it would sometimes takes a few seconds to show up on the screen. My computer has taken on a lag time since I turned it off last night. Like there's a whole slew of functions operating in the background, choking the processor. What should I do.
Flobewan, what happened to your computer help board? Seems hardly patronized anymore. Were there too many perceived liberals on it? If it helps, Im not a liberal. Have a few questions ..thanks
