Joel, since you are a stockholder and a lawyer this post of yours is surprising to say the least. Please turn over the proxy ballot/mailer you received and read the instructions carefully.

Sailfree, if you don't vote you have voted YES. If you vote yes, then you have voted YES. Only if you vote no and mail the card in have you voted NO. The odds are always stacked against defeating any proposal, since we are a nation of non-voters.

Imagine that if by not voting, you were considered to have voted for the incumbent politician. Nice thought, isn't it? Talk about a rigged system.
