the ONLY way to get accurate, up to date share structure info is from the transfer agent. if the t.a. is gagged, believe what you wish.

What is the easiest most affirmative method of finding share structure of a stock?

Always refer to actual regulatory sources first. That would include the SEC (EDGAR) and the Secretary of State. OTCMarkets is not a regulator - they information posted there is voluntarily updated by the Company, and is often very late and inaccurate. There have been multiple cases where non-SEC reporting companies have increased the A/S but intentionally withheld that information from the public and never updated OTCMarkets. In one case I know, it was a year before they actually updated the information on OTCMarkets.

Transfer agents are also good sources, especially for the currently outstanding shares, but don't depend on them for the Authorized. The TA is often one of the last to know the Authorized Shares have been increased as, again, that information comes from the Company and they only tell them when necessary (i.e., when they are about to exceed the old A/S).
