e5oo .. Tom's comments on Harry were very balanced and professional. He explicitly acknowledged Harry's significant contributions to IDCC up until now. If I didn't know better I would think Loop, a shareholder for 20+ years, wrote that paragraph since it is pretty much what he has been saying about HC consistently in response to Corp and his followers who can find no positive contribution HC has made to IDCC while attacking him over and over and over in the most demeaning terms.
I have no problem with Tom suggesting that "it is time to turn the reigns over to a wireless industry veteran that can help cement IDCC’s place in the industry. We envision a leader that brings a rolodex as thick as a phone book, has extensive industry experience, an engineering background, and instant credibility with carriers, manufacturers,and standards bodies." That is not a criticism of Harry. Nor is it an amateurish, emotional, one-sided tirade about his compensation. It is instead a recognition that Harry has done an excellent job of getting IDCC through some VERY difficult times to the point where a wireless industry veteran would find it attractive to take the top management position at IDCC. I would imagine that the BOD sees it in much the same way and will act accordingly.
I find it remarkable that you or anyone else should focus on this one paragraph in what is a VERY upbeat report and try to wring out as many negative conclusions as possible. But then I have never understood people who pathetically insist on snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
