OK crossbow. Let's have another look at what has happened with this stock. You say he deserves another chance? He has been given one and what has he done with that chance?

He started out by cutting and pasting a German software company's website content and using it as his own when he built the IDWD website. He used everything. Including, but not limited to the number of employees claimed by the other company. Fraud number one.

Then he lied about the fishing lure story. This was confirmed by the fishing lure company. Fraud number two

Then he lied about 995ad.com. He claimed the site had 550,000 cars plus when it only had 26,000. When investors were able to determine the amount of autos by doing a broad search on the site and they began to complain, he engineered the broad search that it no longer revealed the true number of autos listed. He also lied about the site being the fastest growing site on Alexa and continues with that lie to this day. Frauds number three and four.

He then lied about an IEEE Region 10 awards banquet that was to have (according to him) taken place in Bangkok, Thailand. Complete with a play by play from Datatech, we were given comments from the banquet which supposedly were telling us about the fantastic merits of a new technology. Unfortunately, no Region 10 IEEE awards banquet occured. The award he claimed the company had been given was a fraud according to an IEEE awards official. Fraud number 5

After this failed, he began the infamous "sale" of the HLS division. We were given a vast number of PRs concerning the sale of the division. We were told that there were several bidders for the division and that the board of IDWD would sell to the highest offer. This went on for a couple of weeks until finally, he said a decision had been made to sell to a company which had offered 41.5 million for the division and that shareholders of IDWD would be distributed the entire purchase price in the way of a dividend. All of this resulted in a huge run in the stock price until it became obvious that his promise to deliver details to shareholders through a letter which was meant to be sent on October 12th was nothing more than a lie. The letter was never sent and the stock plummeted from 65 cents back down to 12 cents. In the interim, he announces in a "clarification PR" that the dividend would be comprised of either cash, stock or a combination of both. Fraud number 6

Then we got another string of PRs about this "sale" and dividend that flared up again. Off to the races we go. Downs claimed the dividend was going to be distributed soon and that the value had increased for some vague reason of business generated by this division.. What do we now know? No one has evidently bought HLS at all. It appears Downs has simply found himself an OTCBB shell and is ready to give shareholders restricted stock in that shell which is meant to suffice as the "100% distribution of the 'sale proceeds'" he had promised everyone. It appears he has sold HLS to himself and the entire debaucle has been a scam. If he distributes restricted shares in a shell controlled by IDWD, the net result is that he has represented a reverse merger as a purchase for the benefit of PRs designed to suck in investors on false pretenses Fraud number 6 (b)

How has the investment community taken this? Lots of pumpers. Lots of pumpers everywhere talking about how the stock is worth anywhere from 2 to 10 dollars per share. Interestingly enough, those same pumpers that only a day or two ago were claiming this scam is worth 2.00 or more per share were selling out all or part of their shares today so that they can keep the rest for free. I noticed that the originator of the HSM IDWD board sold out today as well. http://www.hotstockmarket.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14521&page=130

I find it hilarious that the same people who were screaming about how Downs was all about punishing traders and rewarding long term investors were dumping today as the stock price increased. As I have said in the past, even the most vocal shareholders of IDWD suspect it is a scam. The only reason they pump it is to try to find people who are crazier than they are. This stock is nothing but a game of chicken. No doubt about it.
