No, you can get 20nm samples.



Do I need to remind you that the topic was TSMC 20nm production status, and not what TSMC's customers are selling?

(Of course walbert was trying to MAKE it about end product availability, as a distraction from TSMC's 20nm production status. TSMC gets paid for wafers, not their customers' end products.)

Currently, TSMC's 20nm product (that's been confirmed) is Xilinx FPGA samples.

I care about whether TSMC meets their targets or not. I don't care if TSMC meets your targets (or walbert's targets) or not.

And frankly my dear, I don't give a damn that you have different standards for AMD, TSMC, and Intel... It's quite literally an admission that you've acquired biases that you're unwilling to look beyond, for better or worse. That may work for you, but I'm more open-minded. I see risks for Intel that you seem happy to brush aside.

BTW, do you also agree with walbert that TSMC is so strapped that they're going to cash-starve 16nmFF? That their negative trickle of free cash flow amounts to an existential threat?
