Good post: intelligent, timely and worthy of discussion on this board. Definitely opens up future possibilities. I especially can relate to the stacking of different materials in between the layers of liquidmetal.

I am wondering what the current speed is on forming any given article (of course, I am aware of the variances due to size and complexity) and how, when and if the process speed can be increased and what the ultimate limitation of this technique is in terms of high volume production which APPL releases demand.

Any of the 3D printing experts care to elaborate.

I confess that this area is totally new to me.

I also recall that Steipp indicated he was adhering to the niche policy of developing the Engel machine production technique before moving on to other areas. Did anyone hear that LQMT is actually developing 3D printing. Is Visser working in this area.

Patents are great.

Pumping is not.

Pumping always comes before the Fall.
