Ok, this is huge! Two different 3D Printing Patents assigned to Crucible Intellectual Property:

Both publication dates are today! For all those who think their might be any conspiracy with patentlyappe: Jack Purcher was just really fast, the patent got official this morning! And it is much more astonishing, that both patents for additive manufacturing amorphous alloys were already filed on May 16, 2012, one and a half year ago! So when we were speculating at the beginning of this year whether there are any relationships between the swedish companies (Exmet Ab, Arcam Ab) the electron beam melting technology and the Aeromat Conference, Liquidmetal had already filed a one-year old patent for using electron beam melting:

"Described herein are methods of constructing a part using BMG layer by layer. In one embodiment, a layer of BMG powder is deposited to selected positions and then fused to a layer below by suitable methods such as laser heating or electron beam heating. The deposition and fusing are then repeated as need to construct the part layer by layer. One or more layers of non-BMG can be used as needed. In one embodiment, layers of BMG can be cut from one or more sheets of BMG to desired shapes, stacked and fused to form the part."

Folks, LQMT has now access to one of the most futuristic and advanced technology in manufacturing. This Intellectual Property is worth hundrets of millions at least. It enables the production of any three dimensional metallic object in an amorphous state! What that means? It means that you can combine the unlimited design possibilities of 3D structures with the highest strength, hardness and elasticity so far known in metallurgy!

Grats to all longs, who did not have let themselves dissuade from taken investment decisions. I dont know, whether it was strategically planned and/or anticipated by LM Management, but the tables are definitely turned. Since July 2013 (sheet patent -> 233% -> repayment depth) LM Management has known the effect of their patent publications on market share price. The recently announced financing is a blessing, as it enables them to take advantage of every coming movements for higher (5-day avarage) PPS! There are many applications to be announced in the oil-, medical-, consumer electronics and other industries! Each higher sale of additional shares will boost PPS, as the increase of issued shares is less than the increase of cash. I believe, this time it will be completely the other way around than the last year, resulting in a virtuous circle.
