For example, lets say on Oct. 1st CMBR (formerly CBYI) starts trading. Now, will the new stock symbol and the new company will start with a market capital value of the money raised by SPAC from day one? And if that will the case then looks like there has to be an over night price surge/adjustment?
share price x number of O/S shares = New market cap in millions raised via SPAC.
Or does the new market cap of millions (SPAC) will come into picture at the time of uplisting to AMEX only?
Just trying to learn more about the sequence of this whole SPAC process and at what stage can we see its effect on the share price.
