you do give a good argument mike. this is/was a tough one. i just feel that someone should have been held accountable. a minor is by law not accountable for their actions. and that would make them a liability. parents being responsible for their actions. but when the parents aren't around and there is an adult present i would think that that adult would need to be responsible and accountable. but lets say there was no gun and the kid started to beat up GZ and GZ had to defend himself and he beat the boy into a coma. was it deadly force. that could be debatable. when GZ pulled a firearm that was deadly force. but he felt his life was threatened so it becomes self defence. so he's off the hook.
also something that just hit me is that it was a bad neighborhood and you never know who is caring some heat.
just a bad deal there
i do still worry about that firing up the gun control advocates
