there are many differences.. distance of detection claimed, difference of environment (totally enclosed, (VALIMED) vs out in the open (explosives detection).. different stimulation (UV VALIMED, Secret X-ray wavelength, Explosives detection).., etc."

I know the "etc." part means there's additional differences, but I want to spell one out!

Don't forget that Valimed analysis bulk samples, while ELF/EM-1 was advertised to detect trace chemicals down to PPB.
