BIO: I strongly disagree ! Statin's have a very different pathway,
target, and different parameters of use. Read the label. It's more important IMO that they are so complimentary. That was FDA's reason for insisting on the Reduceit trial. They are solely concerned as to whether lowering Trg's with V + Statin's will reduce MACE. There is no substitute for Statin's.
