Delays happen because the real world presents continuing difficulties. Anyone who thinks those can all be anticipated has never run a complex project.

There is a big difference between planning and executing a project that is an instance of something that has been done many times before and a project involving major novelty. I think a close examination of NNVC's technology would reveal astonishing novelty, such that each thing done differently leads to unpredictable extra time. It is impossible to accurately predict ahead of time how quickly you can solve a problem you did not know was going to be presented to you.

Precisely. And that is the point I keep getting bashed for making -- the only thing we can predict is that unpredictable problems and delays will occur. Yet you and others keep insisting we'll have "a cure in 2 years" which would require that all of the sudden everything goes quickly, smoothly, and without a hitch.

The delays mean more than simply having to wait a few more years to get rich. Each year of delay increases the likelihood that NNVC will go bankrupt before it ever gets a product out the door. And it certainly has an effect on the ultimate stock price. If delays cause NNVC to have raise more money by issuing more shares at a stock price close to what it is now the dilution will be very painful. And every year of delay is one less year of useful life for the existing patents.
