mcd - Exactly. You are right on all counts.
I just looked at a post I sent to you 3/21/2012. I said my target for the top of the 666 rally was 1567. I have had nearly the same target for years. I also said in that post that when the top was hit we would fall to below 666. I have also maintained that for years. So I have not changed my mind on the big picture for several years. It has been refined a little along the way. Now it looks like I missed it a year ago by about 40 points.
I have talked a lot about confirmation bias lately.
People see what they want to see. Once a human decides he believes something he see confirmation of that bias everywhere.
