Have you considered that when enough people follow incorrect doctrine (like voodoo astrology) that it makes it look like it actually works (as the truth). It may be this way with Elliott Wave theory. The majority have made up their own rules and are making decisions based on inaccurate doctrine. Sounds just like what is happening in society today. The sheep will eventually find that they are being led to the slaughter, but after it is too late. In the markets, the informed may be allowing the uninformed to think they have wisdom about market direction, but really the informed are in distribution mode.
Just some thoughts.
