It is true that none of the indictments today were about the disclosure of Plame's identity, they were about lying and obstruction of justice.

He went as far as to say that he wasn't even making a judgement as to whether she was in fact covert at that point or not.

However, Fitzgerald did say that Plame's identity as a CIA agent was classified at the time Novak's column came out and it was illegal to disclose it. He said he would limit his answers today to the "four corners" of the indictments and nothing else. He wasn't saying what else might or might not come in the future.

A bipartisan Senate commmittee concluded that he lied in several aspects and disputed his public assertions that the notion that Sadaam was interested in nuclear material was a lie.

What were his "lies"? Anyone can "dispute" anything. No one has said that the Niger document was anything but a crude forgery.
