If shareholders want special dividend at lower tax-rate, they need to email the Board of Directors and Investor Relations to plead our case.

If, as Merritt says that the BOD reviews it on a regular basis, now is the time for them to consider ALL the benefits of paying one before year-end.

With $700million+ in the till, you would think they could afford to pay the shareholders a one-time special dividend of $5.00 or more before year-end.

Especially, if they are contemplating additional patent sale(s) which would generate additional cash.

Contact Directors@InterDigital.com and our Investor relations team and strongly suggest they consider a special dividend. It doesn't hurt to ask, just like it did to remove the poison pill. It didn't hurt when we asked for the beginning or regular dividends.

Maybe the BOD will listen to us again. After all, what better way to enhance shareholder value then giving shareholders a real boost, especially in this economy.
