This is what I was told in answer to my questions. First, there was no Wells notice issued or sent to either me personally, the company or my attorneys. That would have meant they wanted to receive information from the company unrelated to the financials.
That makes absolutely no sense. The purpose of a Wells notice is to inform the recipient that the SEC's investigation of him or his company is substantially complete, and that the agency intends to bring a lawsuit.
I'm afraid his complete lack of understanding of Wells notices casts some doubt on the credibility of the rest of what he said.
