Some time ago I was weighing this question and the constitution, the constitution grants rights to persons (not just to American citizen as someone mentioned to me). In any event, I went as far as suggesting to a group of VC's a business plan for airports and seaport related lodging business. Many people desperately want to become American citizens, one facilitating feature is if that person is a parent of an American citizen. Following the logic that a fetus is a baby, and that a being becomes alive at conception, I was going to start a business that would issue certificates of conception within the united states from hotels, motels etc. located near ports of entry in the US. All complete with dated videos of the very initial stages of conception for those perverts that insisted on a visual proof. One of the VC's, was also a very strong "pro lifer" but another side of him was "anti Immigrants", he violently opposed granting rights to such an unborn, (citizenship rights mind you, particularly if the color of his skin was not a nice pinkish hue) though he also claimed that that unborn was protected by its constitutional rights as a person. The argument was too vitriolic (the guy was a real bigot) to go anywhere, and of course this business idea went nowhere. (g) or in German: Nicht....
