VAYA CON DIOS O DIABLO Berlind... was one of the most heartening bits of trusted computing coverage that I've listened to or read in a long, long time. Berlind dismantled the guy... and in the process showed knowledge of the economics of software development and the breadth and focus of trusted computing. Wow.
VIA guy kept referring to TPMs as a "niche" ("neeeeeesh") offering. That was an interesting exercise in verbal karate. It didn't pay off. And by the end of the exchange, it was obvious that VIA had gone down a path that was, to the say least, ill-conceived.
