InformAfrica – Kayode Aladesuyi, a Nigerian born entrepreneur based in the US and CEO of East Coast Diversified, is working with his team of engineers and social media experts to launch a redefining social media platform known as “Vir2o”.

Vir20 is a virtual desktop-to-mobile technology that will change the way users socialize and interact on the web in real-time.
WetWinds, a social media division of East Coast Diversified, introduced the name for its social media platform Vir2o in July and has launched a sign up page with promotion campaign in advance of launching the site. WetWinds “Vir2o” will be the most innovative social media platform allowing users across the globe to share real time interactive social engagements.
“We’re excited about the progress we’ve made thus far,” said Tish Spaulding, managing creative director for WetWinds. “Vir2o will be the most innovative social media platform allowing users across the globe to share real-time, user-to-user social engagements.”
Vir2o is currently in its development phase and will serve as a destination point that will offer a number of unique features that are currently not available on other social media sites. The company is planning to launch a global promotional campaign shortly this year to drive beta users for its pilot release.
“WetWinds will continue to incur research and development costs for the successful launch of Vir2o as well as continuing cost of integrating our technology platforms with other legacy systems,” said Kayode Aladesuyi, CEO of East Coast Diversified, in a press statement addressing shareholders of the company.

About Kayode Aladesuyi
Kayode A. Aladesuyi, the founder of EarthSearch, was appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officer, President and Interim Chief Financial Officer of East Coast Diversified Corporation (ECDC) on April 2, 2010. Mr. Aladesuyi held similar positions with EarthSearch since January 2004.
During his position as Chairman of EarthSearch, he created the world’s first wireless communication between GPS and RFID, and expanded the company’s partner network to more than 15 countries in 5 continents. Since his election as Chairman of ECDC, he led the acquisitions of Rogue Paper an entertainment media company, aNOTEfor a social media company and created StudentConnect technology for student safety and class attendance monitoring technology.
Prior to joining EarthSearch, Mr. Aladesuyi was the founder (in 1999), chief executive officer, and president of PlanetLink Communications, Inc. which engaged in the development of satellite-enabled products based on GPS technology and provision of monitoring services in the United States. Mr. Aladesuyi resigned from PlanetLink Communications in 2003 to establish EarthSearch. He has a B.S. degree in accounting from Alabama State University.
