Can you provide a brief explanation of what happened here?
I looked at a half dozen of the companies involved. They were all otcqb.....SEC filers that are current....and some of them are substantial in the sense that they generate a couple hundred million in revenues. They had the common feature of having a low average trading volume.
I looked at the full text of Rule 15c2-11 and couldn't figure out what term of the rule they had failed to meet. My recollection is that relegation to the grey market will deprive brokers of the right to provide quotes on these companies. What exactly did they do to deserve that?
