Yes, I agree there will eventually be competitors as there always is. Lord knows I have them! lol!!
Anyway, I am wondering IF their is some enabling software between the Master Boot Record and the TPM at the secure startup.
Every computer made begins its boot up in the MBR, which is read by the system BIOS. This must all be isolated and secured before the harddrive o/s takes over the remainder of the boot up to get you to your desktop.
Not actually knowing for sure is what causes us not to be able to be dogmatic, but merely speculative. Sure wish we knew though.
