micro59, regarding Wave and Seagate. I am still wondering what the Wave connection to Seagate is, exactly. I have to be honest with the board that although I could assume there is a direct tie-in to the trusted server infrastructure, I can't be sure. So at the moment I am under the assumption it is a client software encryption package that Wave has "first mover" status with Seagate. As others join the initiative of trusted drives, I have no doubt that Wave will be involved with them. However, I also believe that as time goes on, there will be additional client software vendors competing with Wave. A simple understanding of business makes me think that Seagate would want to have as many options for the client as possible, so Wave is not an exclusive on the client trusted drive for long. However, is there something deeper? Who knows at this point. Wave has been eerily silent for quite some time now aside from Atmel and ST news since practically January I think. Its almost all been PRs on shows and stuff.
