My opinion

IDCC is engaged in strategic meetings on two fronts. First and foremost are the remaining potential licensees who need to know about the capitulation of KYO. Second and very important are the current analysts and the analysts who have expressed interest in the past, but have yet to initiate coverage. The institutions will drive this stock. There is no need to spend time on a press release right now. IDCC anticipates additional licensees and favorable rulings in strategic litigation over the next 45 days. They now have a very interested author at the Philadelphia Business Journal who would love to engage in a super story on or before 10/31/2005 that will be picked up by other major publications. The press and media coverage will take care of itself should the licensees fall in place and the judges rule as expected. In fact, IDCC may need to hire an eyes, ears and throat specialist to treat WM during the rest of 2005 if all goes as anticipated. Worry about a KYO PR right now is simply not warranted. The IDCC story is much bigger than a new licensee right now. Depending upon the remaining additional 3g licensees, IDCC could be the press darling of the year in the very near future. Any news release right now will be focused more on guidance and this will not be made until the allocations are made and approved by our inside and outside CPA's. Relax and enjoy the story.
