I've been reading on NOL's and if there is a way to actually utilize them, the value is well, pretty close to the tax rate.

Then the NOL value should be somewhere between 0-35% of it's "face", assuming you had profits to maximize the NOL. 35% of 100% NOL usability is best case scenario... ? <--- question mark added

my opinion.
