Hes no dummy... If he left because of family issues they would have stated that in the 8K to lesson the blow, but they did not.

Didn't state it in the 8K? Didn't have to since it had already been stated in the 10Q. From the 10Q:

in late September, Mr. Scammell stepped down from his position as president due to health problems in his immediate family.

As for this:

You're wrong in several ways. The company did in fact state in the 10Q (not just an 8K) that he was leaving for family medical reasons. So lay off the guy. And he didn't leave, as you say, he scaled back his activities with the company. Also from the 10Q

However, Mr. Scammell remains as a Director and head of the geology department.

Even now, as they are hiring others to take over the functions he can no longer fulfill, RS is still playing a role. From a recent PR (and 8K):

Mr. Walker will be consulting, if needed, with Mr. Roger Scammell, who has pledged to be a geological advisor to the Company.
