Bylo - consider the difference in profit margin 1 beer vs. 1 IVR system. You, of course, gravitate towards the easy, low margin sale as opposed to a difficult, high margin sale. Any idiot wants to or thinks about opening a bar. Proprietary computer software and hardware, on the other hand, is more difficult, but also more rewarding.

Also, it takes time to develop relationships in business...Bob Ferris knows this because his former market (and my current one) has customer/supplier relationships that go back 2, 3 and even 4 generations. When a buyer has been doing business with only a limited number of the same suppliers for decades, it takes a special person or product to get the buyer to change their purchasing behavior.

As I have stated previously, the technology owned by VirTra is special. No US government purchasing agent lost their job by maintaining status quo. Only when the end user points out the need for new, better technology will the purchasing agents begin to fill out paperwork for VirTra.

Changing customer behavior (especially US government behavior) will take time. Expecting it to happen overnight is only for those expecting to win the lottery (maybe a better investment for you based upon your expectations/negativity).
