To balance that out...

Someone will never like what they see.

When there is news, they may try to find ways to dismiss it. Call it fiction. Say there is no proof. Label it as fluff.

They may make up contradicting stories on management. They will say management doesn't exist. Doesn't come into work. Don't have an office. Have no phones. Say they all quit. All should be fired. They are all running up personal expenses. Have done nothing. They may even stoop to childish behavior and call them names.

They may come across as having an ax to grind. They may spend countless hours of their lives obsessing over a stock. They may justify the time they waste to their families and kids by saying its just entertainment.

They may not have a clue as to what is really going on within the company, but will have all the answers of what management should do or should have done. Their hindsight may be 20/20. They may always have a "friend" in the know. One who either ran or could run the company ten times better. They may say they will voice their concerns at shareholder meetings, but likely will never show.

When the share price may go up, it's because they say someone is pumping to dump millions of shares. They may never have proof for what they claim, but will require proof from everyone else who posts on a message board. It’s never about progress. For them, time seems to stand still. The company they see doesn't have a product, doesn't have a plan and has no employees.

They may appear to hate the stock and repeat their viewpoint over and over again for the hard of reading or to anyone that will listen. A response to their post is the highlight of their day and a reason to celebrate. Most importantly, a reason to break open their last can of Bud Light.

Sure they will celebrate but sadly it may not be with the family, because they've may have already moved on. The negativity they spew may have crossed over from the online world to their personal lives. A stock message board may be their only way to socially interact with the real world.

The stock they dislike the most will likely be the one they buy. But unlike the majority of the shareholder, they will announce when they purchase and when they sell. It will always be a major event in the lives and they will want the world to know how well they have played the market. Their timing will be uncanny.

They may come across as a hypocrite, double talker, two faced, but it doesn't matter to them. Their self awareness doesn't exist.

There's always someone on this board who will "hate" what they "see" and can only be called a real Man of Genius.
