I like NFLX, dont get me wrong the CEO is a jacka$$. I'd rather redbox or pirate the movie if I really need it so I never used the dvd rental aspect anyway. The streaming on the other hand I have used a lot. Strictly on the xbox though. If I cant find something on TV to watch or my DVR or on demand I can always find something on there to blow some time. Plus my kids burn through the kids section. Beats the hell outta ondemand because you can set it to play a whole season back to back instead of having to load each episode after the first one is done.
That being said, The share price was never justified and it took a major screwup from the CEO to really bring it to light. The wanting to split it off into quikster was a huge red flag that just screamed the dvd mail business was gonna go bust. The stock reflected that and thats why you saw it go from $300 to the low $50s. I can see it possibly getting back to $100 but thats far off, I'd definately have calls if rumors of the CEO resigning showed up.
