What we have learned in this process, that is what WAMU investors have learned personally by holding throughout this morass of legal b.s., is that the largest banks are protected from justice by high paid lawyers. The banks use the money they make to do what ever they want when ever they want and the FDIC either assists or doesn't get involved until it's too late.

There is no one fighting for the people and the stock holders in these banks, i.e. no one with enough clout to make a difference in the board's plans.

So, if our Equity Committee steers this process into a higher court or the district court for criminal proceedings, in contrast to bankruptcy proceedings, then we may enjoy the possibilities of some of these manager being prosecuted.

In the meantime, the wall of isolation from justice around JD and others like him is tall and wide.
