Hey, I've got a question for you Janice, or any of you other board mods here. What is the term for when actual company personnel get involved in reading the posts here(or any forum), and rather than comment to say a "basher" directly, they instead use a different "path" of communication, like say their own website's chat board, to communicate information back to a "supportive" member on the board, who then posts this "company info" to the board, as return "comments" to the basher? In the situation I witnessed, the company member even went further through this supportive poster, and thought it would be nice if they revealed the basher's personal name and email address. I thought it was rather peculiar. I thought this type of post monitoring was acceptable, as long as the company member(s) didn't get involved in any sort of "reply". In this case, they were angry with the bashing they were seeing, and thought they would kind of "get even", by having some other board member do their "bidding" on the board...........I think I've read about other situations here on IHUB and elsewhere, where an actual CEO of a company, was found to be posting on his own company's IHUB board, and it was considered possibly illegal, by certain "authority" groups, like the SEC..........I just looked up the definition of collusion, and that may be the legal term I'm referring to...........Is it considered illegal activity for a company to get involved with IHUB "chatting", or is it just considered bad "tact", but not necessarily illegal?.........I'm hoping this is a question that can be "asked" about, on this board. I know I commented about the "peculiarity" of the incident on that certain board afterwards, and my post got deleted I believe by Admin, rather quickly.

OK to PM me back Janice, if you wish..........
