Seriously dm or anyone. Just what part of the company or set of patents that would require selling assistance from Barclays and Evercore could IDCC possibly split away from the company and remain in any way competitive?

I must be dumber than dumb, but would they sell their 4G patents? 3G patents? engineers? Bill Merritt maybe? I just honestly don't see a strategic alternative that would include any part of IDCC. Anybody? What is this part of the company IDCC would be selling? I'm sticking with $126 and the company is gone. .. nic

Investigating strategic alternatives does not necessarily mean a sale of the whole company. (which most here are assuming will happen) It could include the sale of some or part of the company assets. I no longer believe a complete sale of the company will happen.
