But the credibility of what the CEO says would be in question if the name and ticker change doesn't happen this week. Since the CEO himself put out a PR saying that the name change should happen sometime this week.

I, as many others here have been waiting for a couple months now for the change, hopefully it goes through this week, otherwise I think the PPS will suffer greatly.
